- How to send an email to recipients who have already given their consent in relation to the GDPR
LeadFox offers you several options for email communication with your clients. In order to comply with the GDPR, the following are the options that you will need to select in order to transmit your emails in compliance with the law and its norms.
In the standard LeadFox window, namely the window used for managing your emails, we have added 2 options to the interface: “Email Category” and
The Email Category allows you to select one of the categories you had previously created when activating the GDPR option with LeadFox. Therefore, you should select the suitable category for the email you are about to send.
Email Consent Status:
Email consent status offers 3 possibilities:
1. All opt-in contacts
2. All undefined contacts
3. All contacts
The option called “All opt-in contacts” will only take into account those contacts who have given their consent for the email category you’ve selected.
The next option, i.e. “All undefined contacts”, will take into account all of your contacts who had never unsubscribed from your lists prior to the implementation of the GDPR.
The last option, namely the “All contacts” option, will take into account the “opt-ins” and the “undefined,” but will exclude those who have unsubscribed.
And voilà! This completes the section on emails and the GDPR.
