Activate the GDPR option in LeadFox

In order to properly implement the GDPR, you’ll need to activate the option called “User email preferences.” This option can be found in “Settings,” under the “Management” section.  

You’ll then need to accept all of the conditions in order to activate your communication preferences:

Define the email categories you’d like to use for the GDPR

After activating email preferences, you must then categorize the communications you send to your clients by theme. At this stage, we invite you to consider the various types of communications you send to your clients (for example: blog, promotion, product, service, campaign, etc.).  As a default, LeadFox offers a generic category.

In order to categorize your communications, click on the “Configure” button in the “User Email Preferences” section.

In this window, you can add your email categories (i.e. those that your clients can subscribe to and unsubscribe from at any time) by clicking on the “Add an Email Category” button. Please then provide the “Name” and “Description” for that category.  Be sure to write a clear and specific description.

You will then see a list of all the email categories you’ve created.

Nonetheless, you can always start with the generic category, i.e. the default created by LeadFox.

Lastly, please select the default language that you will use to communicate with your clients in managing their subscriptions:

And voilà! You have completed configuration in LeadFox. You can now use these LeadFox features for GDPR purposes. This activation will allow you to offer the necessary features for GDPR deployment in the following circumstances:

Emails
